Had a terrible experience here. The owner Stephen was completely out of line. More details on my Yelp posting. But being that they have fake reviews here of family giving them 5 stars, posting photos and acting as an unrelated consumer. I feel it should be known. I must be a criminal mastermind, because he thought it was possible I was potentially holding a very long conversation on the phone, without skipping a beat, without looking over my shoulders to spot employees, while having one hand always to my ear, and using the other hand to look at any of the 5 million things that are in there. That I also spent the time slipping things into my snapped closed on my shoulder typically pushed to the back of my elbow. (You know ladies... how you Cary a shoulder bag in a small are with breakables so it doesn’t flop around and hit things.) Not to mention, adding things to a basket hanging on the arm of the hand holding up the phone. A basket in which was given to me to shop with cause I was juggling the items previously. But still I must be so good at it that I was doing all of that without skipping a beat, and getting items into my purse. Although would have made for an awkward encounter when I go up set down my purse and unbuckle it to take out my wallet to pay for the items in my basket... Perhaps I was putting them elsewhere you say? On my body? Well that would be a good theory. Except I was wearing a tight short leather dress and over coat that left little to the imagination, and had no pockets or ability to hide anything. So why was I targeted you ask? Well That’s anyone’s guess. His only real reason was I was shopping for a long time. And I had a purse. And I “ducked” down. Mind you this is not called ducking down. It’s called wearing a short dress and wanting to stay modest while wanting to look at all the tiny items he has low to the floor. Oh this was also done only in two spots. (That I remember.) 1. Directly by the check out counter, in front of employees and within full view. 2- in the coffee isle. Being that I don’t drink coffee and I own a condo in Maui. I saw a grinder I had never seen before, and took out my phone, (the ONLY) time my bag was opened. To look up the brand. Got side tracked with my husbands incoming call and the rest is as previously stated. I shop local as much as possible. I did not deserve this in any way. For a business to alienate someone this way, shows their clear lack of judgment.
